Laura Krusemark – Artist Statement

It is my genuine curiosity, inspired by the beauty in nature, and wonder of this Earthly experience, that
compels me to create artwork and melodies so I can share my visions, bringing these discoveries into the
world to inspire others.
Visually, the primary mediums I create with are oil, watercolor, charcoal, pastel, and gold. Using gold in
my work carries its frequencies into the paintings from the many higher light realms. There is a strong
connection between our sun and the gold within our Earth. Its beautiful, reflective qualities and energetic
properties have a powerful effect, opening the heart to higher wisdom and illumination.
As the creation becomes more alive, layer upon layer, I enter a place where no time or space exists. In this
unfolding, it is beauty that I find to be the most fascinating virtue, as it creates a moment of awe, a
suspension of time, inspiration….. a conversation with our soul directly.
My work has been described by many as being “radiant, mystical, fairytale-like, refined, and beautiful.”
These qualities are reflected in my delicate pastels, watercolors, and portraits of various female
archetypes.
At a young age, I was drawn to the works of masters during the Renaissance, Pre-Raphaelite and Art
Nouveau movements as these times reflected a magical, luminous spirit. I’m inspired to create this
mystical, ethereal feeling, and beauty of which I hold the vision for its re-emergence upon our Earth in
this coming Golden Age.
I am grateful to be able to share my artistic visions and sound creations with you at this amazing time on
our planet!
Radiantly yours,
Laura Krusemark
